They changed vergil's personality too?

How should vergil be if he is included

Given that the masked man in the trailer is vergil I think that he isnt the cold and elegant devil we know.
The vergil we know used to talk in a cold and stiff manner with aas minimum movement as possible but the masked man is seen to be putting his hands together and nodding quite often . So what do u think am I just over reacting or did u people notice that too?
 
I think that was done because when a character wears a mask it's difficult to portray that they're speaking. I mean, I suppose they could've only put in a nod here or there, but for a scene that long it would've been boring.

If you notice, this also happens with Power Rangers, Kamen Rider, Beetleborgs, etc.
 
everyone's positive about vergil even DMC wiki has updated their website saying that tthe maskedman is probably vergil more over :
some one asked tameem about the sex scene and he said that it had been tastefully done . So by saying that there is a sex scene ( even though none of the trailers showed it ) he is indirectly saying that the 4chan guy is true and according to him vergil is included

yeah i believe 4chan guy about everything, since there has been enough proof to prove him right.
 
It would feel out of place in a reboot to have so many different things in the story and characters except one thing. I'd like to see how he is portrayed by Ninja Theory. Maybe they aren't twins, and don't know that they are brothers. Maybe Vergil and Dante are twins, and Vergil wears a mask to hide their likeness. Who knows? All I know is that I'm very excited to see.
 
Since, it's a reboot and whole different world, personally I would like to see Vergil(if he is in the game) helping Dante. As in the original Divine Comedy, Vergil was the guide of Dante, it would be great if we could see Vergil helping his brother in this game. And how about Vergil and Dante opening a shop, together? I can't even imagine what the duo would do to their enemies! :)

OFF TOPIC: I really want to see Dante evolve as a person, much like how a young Bruce Wayne later became the ultimate badass, Batman.
 
Vergil and Dante having a shop together? EXCELLENT !!! But we still need and epic battle between them, maybe this time Vergil would set Dante back to the correct path :D ya know 'cause he is blinded by hatred...

No I'd like vergil and Dante to go their separate ways . It's not in their style to work together.
What I'd really like is a boss battle against vergil.
 
If that is him in the mask...

I imagine he wouldn't even be there unless there is going to be some kind of boss fight against him eventually.

And... it makes 'storytelling sense' that Vergil will always be the opposite personality of Dante, even if he pretends not to be in the beginning. So I guess you'd have to expect less swearing, less trash-talking, emotion, and showing off... just as usual.

sympathetic backstory and motive, he looks just like Dante, he is really cool, and because that is just what fangirls do. but that is off topic so you should probably have made a thread for it.

on topic: Vergil will probably have the same basic personality there will probably be a few differences but he will be as close to the original as DmC Dante is to DMC3 Dante. (the small differences in personality will probably go in the opposite direction from the differences between the two Dantes)

Now you're talking about the old Vergil, but since we don't know pretty much anything about this new rebooted Vergil, he could be friend, foe, mentor, rival ..anything :lol: But it's true that Vergil as we used to know him, would never join Dante, he has too much pride for that...
 
this is usually why i point out that there is a small chance it could be nero.

on topic- i think they made vergil more of a leader and therefore more of a people person so that could be the change.
 
I want Vergil to have a more bombastic personality. He's cool, chill, but still serious about his cause. Or maybe he can be a deviant and always not be trusted while still being trusted. Like Izaya from Durarara. He seems like someone you wouldn't trust but he does help only for him to screw you up in the end.
