Your post not having likes just shows this forum doesn't give a flying fuhk about the old series anymore which is truly sad. DMC is what we grew up with. Come on guys. Whether it became stale or not does not mean you should give up on it. If something that you're a fan of becomes stale, you hope for the best. You don't forget about it, because you care about it and want it to continue. What kind of fandom/loyalty is that, anyway? Just wanting a series you loved die? Disgusting.
Anyway, as for DmC being Inafune's idea? Highly doubt it. Good theory though. He said that the next DMC (Aka DMC5) should be custom tailored to what the fans wanted.

If DMC5 does come out it will be on the PS4 (will it be an exclusive??? maybe DMC4 was originally a PS3 exclusive).....Capcom will still likely put it on the PC unless if the PS4 hardware don't match up with the PC one and it will be hard to translate a PS4 game into a PC game cuz that share feature and touch screen seem iffy....not so sure if it can work on a PC and there is the possibility that Sony might want to make the PS4 controller uncompatible to a PC.....its a possibility not an actual certainty.

But if it turns out not to be PC compatible, I'll probably give up there! I'd rather buy a car, take a vacation, pay off some bills, or see a specialist my insurance won't cover for any medical conditions! xP
