The ONE thing DmC needed to feel complete...

Zilla

The inFAAMous
Forget your Total Result screen, your Combat taunting, your Orb pools and caches...

We needed this guy:

Who wants to argue with Me first?

I would've given my left hand for that one!
I mean it was all there, the critters, damn would've been awesome.
Actually I've started on a concept for my DmC: Legacy project (it's in the fan art section for those interested).
In that concept I revised phantom to be made of blood and bones instead of lava. If it was an ingame boss you would fight within something like the bloodbank of a hospital or something.... ah well, I'll post it when I get around to work on it!

Wow, now that I'm looking at him, Phantom totally would have fit into this game's design- just replace the fire with the black goo and make the shell look more like porcelain, and you're there. O_O Now I'm wondering if Phantom was part of the inspiration for some of their enemy design.

Phantom was butchered in DMC2 imo... so I'm not too sure I would enjoy another recreation of him.

Unless... it would be pretty funny if his wife came to kill Dante. :P

I think Phantom would have been great in there. Maybe give him armor like the the Tyrants and boom there it is. Plus with all those smaller spiders, you'd think it was leading up to a bigger spider at least.

he was one of the coolest bosses, i would love to see him return maybe in DmC2, have when you fight him he says hes angry at dante for killing his brethren and it shows a flash back of us killing spiders in underwatch, and dante is like " damn it, how was i supposed to know?"

I though something like that too. Or maybe something like those spider enemies from DMC3 (they were hard sometimes, but so fun when you get the hang of it).
