The Manga Vs Game

In game he gets his tattoos, in the manga he doesn’t get them till absorbing his nightmares, let me know if I am right

There are quite a few differences between the two. Same with the light novel. You are correct, V doesn’t get his tattoos till much later in the manga, though all of that can be up for interpretation. Maybe he’s dreaming it all of that it happened as it did in the game. Consistency doesn’t seem to be a priority in this game.

Ya I’m just glad they explained how Vergil in DMC 3 appeared because I thought he was captured by Mundas going by old lore
