They can't really make a logical entry for vergil it would be weird and total fan service
 
Logical entry for vergil?
So many ideas are coming from my mind.
There are so many fanfiction in the internet of how vergil is gonna return and there are amazing ones.
If normal gamers or people can do this i'm pretty sure game developers can.
This is also one of the reasons why i hate DMC 4.It made the story line more inconsistent,full of plot holes whatsoever and nero is such an unnecessary character imo.

Unnecessary ?? he was a replacement of vergil ! heck they can't even continue Dante's story from DMC2 how in earth they can make vergil return ?
 
Nero will never be a replacement for vergil.Nero sucks as far as i concern imo.How he is unnecessary?They can't even make a sequel about the guy of what is his origins or what ever it is or how the hell he got the power of sparda.He makes the story even more messy.DMC 4 was nothing but a filler to me so as DMC 2.The point of our discussion is whether vergil is alive,dead or mystery not how he is gonna return and we're talking about a game and anything can happen in a game.
There is also the reboot.To retell the whole story again.Whenever i think of how they will continue the story in dmc 2,it gives me a headache.

The only DMC games that i acknowledge would be DMC 3 and DMC 1 which is my most favorite games of all time.

Wow that'd be cool to see nero behaving as vergil and using instant styling of vergil i still think he's just a test tube son of sparda not real off-spring ironically it isn't really that hard to continue DMC2 if you ask me it just needs effort and some good script writing

I can make tons and tons of Fan-fic just for free Capcom :D i think Capcom should make forums more useful for the games like announcing competitions

If the guy wants Vergil to be in this game, then he wants Vergil to be in this game.
The new Devil May Cry doesn't follow the original series, so Vergil could easily be in this game without any sort of explanation related to the past games.

Either way, carry on with the main topic, please. ^^

why is it so complicated for capcom to say "Devil May Cry 2 was non-cannon" it would clear up the whole mess, and make it so they could continue the story without having to deal with there biggest mistake

Well because it is canon they can't reload the bullet which has been shot for good or bad DMC2 remains the 100% canon sequel

What if Vergil in DmC was a hideous monster? would you be ****ed that he doesn't look like Dante?

If he is in the game then he will be a hideous monster whether he looks or doesn't look like that amateur pretending to be Dante. I hope he's not. Vergil doesn't deserve this but... come to think of it Dante didn't either and now look at him.

That's cool.If they're gonna continue dmc 2,they need to at least change his attitude.His attitude should be like in the anime or in DMC 1.

Well he could be both. He could have access to both forms and not choose to use his human form as he could prefer to use his demon form.

I dont really think I would have problem with that as I'm not against Nero being his kid.
Just as long as they give me context.

i just want them to tackle good guy demons who dont hide behind a human form.
 
Another problem that I feel could be addressed could be Dante's face. In the Trailers, he had bruises and cuts on his face, which gave me the impression "Oh, he's all beat up, he's weak!", but in reality, its not so. Dante should be so badass, that nothing can even touch him...

Another point with his face, I always enjoyed (this is going to sound creepy) how smoothed his face looked. Dantes new rugged look kinda throws me off the most. For me, keeping Old Dante with black hair wouldn't be a big problem, but having New Dante's face with white hair kinda makes me shiver....

I finally understand what you mean:D
So like if trish was in disguise and then suddenly her true demon for came about and she couldn't revert back into a sexy mama and had to remain a gruesome demon. I think i would like her more that way. Its just more interesting.

His face in the past of anime like. Only in HQ pics does he look like a regular person but still he looks just like he did in the anime. I was actually happy to see Dante finally beaten down. Something about hero's turn me off when there is nothing that can hurt them. Only in DMC3 did i feel something for Dante, but that only made him stronger -_- just like superman
