I got the idea and liked the video, i don't know why are people taking gameplay footage as a mirror to canon this serious. And absolutely nothing in the game canon implies that Sparda was a tough demon, the narrative even makes it clear that he was hunted down like a rabbit by Mundus, and even the lore makes it clear that the real deal and threat to Mundu's "empire" and soul harvesting are the Nephilim itself, not a powerful demon alone like Sparda was to the original DMC canon.

Well, it is said that Sparda was mundus' "most trusted lieutenant", so I guess he could not be that weak, if he had that place.
But surely Nephilim represented a much worse menace.

And in general, I agree with you, this video was not to be taken so seriously.

I personally believe that Sparda probably fought for a good few weeks against a shat load of Ghost Rages, Frost Knights, and all of the color coded enemies. He couldn't change weapons fast enough...
