Speculation: Why Dante Fights Vergil

I think that in the story, angels are just as dominating as demons.
Vergil uses Dante to get rid of demons, so that the angels can move in and rule humankind.

Dante probably gets into a conflict with Vergil because the former believes that humans should be left alone.

That's actually a pretty cool theory! It'd certainly put a nice spin on Vergil's supposed 'Downfall', as Capcom and Ninja Theory are calling it.

It won't be long now before we find out how accurate you were.

That's pretty much the general assumption as of now. I don't mind it but I'm hoping for something a little bit more unique.
