Sparda still alive??!!!

Forget previous games, we're talking now about DmC.

They said that Mundus killed Dante's mother and imprisioned Sparda. That was a long time ago and we don't know what happened after that. The boys did grow up and took different ways.

So, Sparda may be alive or not, but I believe he is. The tricky thing is that he probably got out of his hell prision, probably assuming a disguise. He is weak and can't fight back. He can't even show himself, because Mundus forces are looking for him. That means he probably is kept hidden or he really wants to be kept that way...

So, that's where we have that Phineas guy. My theory is that he is Sparda using a disguise. He keeps giving instructions to Dante, about killing Mundus child and so on. Why a demon would help Dante?

So, once Dante gives back is face, Phineas will reveal himself as being Sparda, and Dante will absorb his powers to fight Mundus, just like in DMC 1. It's gonna be a epic battle, it has to be!

I'm talking about how Dante suddenly assumed Sparda's form in Mission 22 from DMC 1.

His DT was basically Sparda himself.

Exactly, but he only assumed that form during mission 22 and not before.

Throughout the game, you could use Sparda, but not the DT.

That's why I believe similar thing may happen in DmC. Phineas ( Sparda's disguise) will give something to Dante ( a weapon, sword or whatever) and Dante will literally be Sparda against Mundus, during the last fight. It's just a theory, but it would make sense...

he did assume the identity whenever he killed a boss like phantom a ghost like image of sparda will appear where dante is then dissapear so with every demon he killed he pretty much became more like sparda

Good point, I forgot about that scene. However, Phantom didn't see Sparda 100%, it was a mix of Dante and Sparda, lol.

In mission 22, it was completely different.

i agree but it happened after he killed griffin after nelo and i think it happened after nightmare so i think it did it at an increasing rate until he pretty much was like sparda

last time i played it i just found out about the bangle of time got it then kept trying to do the 3rd special mission which was impossible because i repeated the game so many time :lol:

nelo was remembering dante and then disappears nightmare doesnt talk which is weird all the other bosses did aside from nelo

the fact nightmare has no mouth could be it but alot of characters talk without mouths these days and i guess it's true watch out for the quiet ones nightmare was pretty annoying

ugh i hated him he was the bane of my existence along side griffon hated fighting him he was so annoying since you could only attack his blue orb thing to do damage

i always let him eat me then kill the enemies so i can take a load of his health away
