This is just a headcanon im throwimg out there but i like to beleive majin form was spardas equivulent of sin dt just because his regular form looks so puny compared to dante and vergil now despite being their dad. So its possible dantes just adopting his dads true demon form in 2 like he did with his standard demon form at the end of one.
