You can't judge UE by a game that was released three years ago. I'm working with unreal as my final project and what I can say is that they really impressed me with the engine's improvement since UT3 was released. I'm not saying it is the best engine for dmc, but it is a wonderful tool for westernizing the series.
DMC4's engine really impressed me, mainly after the test made in the Legendary Dark Knight mode on the PC. If they keep that up on the next game without any performance drops, it would be awesome.

If DmC is ported to the PC with the UE3 of course its going to look and play great. UE3 runs on PC smoothly since Unreal Engine is mostly a PC engine anyway, sumthing the PS3 is not.

So, UE3 means westernizing. WTH! When does an engine determine what region its from? That's ridiculous.

Ya know that Asura's Wrath, that other game that Capcom announced, uses UE3 right? Does that look anywhere near Western to anyone? I doubt it.

I'm not saying that UE3 means westernizing. But it could be a great option for westernizing. Actually, its all about the art direction.

Anyway... I have faith in NT, I'm sure they'll make a good job. No matter what engine they use.
