the past games are all less than five hours long not counting four which is 8-10 hours long where is the logic in these arguments? -_-

Speaking from an objective point of view, I don't see how those walkthrough videos are relevant in any way since the guy already knows what to do and knows what he's doing in combat. No one playing through the games their first time around with no prior knowledge will finish them that fast, so those are some pretty horrible examples.

The way I see it people complained about DmC's length and as such you simply feel compelled to do the same about the old games out of spite. It's just a vicious cycle that never ends.

EDIT: While I'm not fond of DmC in general I think the length is just fine from what I've seen. So I don't know why people are complaining about that.

I got the game Monday at 3pm and just had to stop playing just now and it is 1:09am Tuesday..and I am still not done with the game. lol

I think what we need to hear now is how much aproximate play time does it take to complete the game in its entirety (all secrets, all extras and SoS and DMD).

Not to mention you could beat DMC1 in a little over an hour.

That's a speedrun though. A user on SDA (Speed Demos Archive) beat DMC4 in around 2 hours. They don't really count as first try though. DmC on my first go took around 10 hours. It felt MUCH shorter though but might've been because I was enjoying myself heh. Some missions contain a single boss fight. Some contain a short sequence and the rest if your basic DMC series gameplay.
