If it was like DMC3 where Vergil disappeared in the demon world, I'd like that. But I would want him to return for another game. So no, I don't think they should kill Vergil off. Hint he might be, but no death.

I think they should let Vergil live. He deserves to be in more than one game.

True, but with the first game they didn't really make him anything like himself. So, in a way, it wasn't really him. I'd like them to keep Vergil the way he is for more than one game.

All DMC1 Vergil did was attack and fight, all without a motive other than he was ordered to by Mundus. That's not much of a character, if you ask me.
Well it wasn't like you were supposed to be attached to him. He wasn't the kind of character you were supposed to pay attention to until the last fight.

Which is why I don't really count that one as a game that Vergil was in.
