Secret Missions Won't Start

When I get to the secret missions it says press back to begin, but I literally have no idea how to start them. I have hit every button on the controller. Anyone else heard of this? Glitch? Am I doing something wrong?

You'll have to give use more to work with. Have you restarted? What controller are you using and on which platform are you playing on?
