Saving at a boss fight

Can I save at a boss fight - quit - collect orbs and power up w/o replaying the whole mission over? (Mission 10 - Dante)

Nah thats not how DMC roll its strictly mission by mission. As annoying as it is I wouldnt have it any other way.

thanks - and I do agree. i almost beat him on the first try - like 1/4 of the last bar of health and he did his retarded combo lol. almost taught the controller how to fly. but i wouldn't have it any other way either.
