Rockstar responds to 'Ask The Community' online feature.
Rockstar has responded to NowGamer's
recent reveal that LA Noire will feature online connectivity through its Rockstar Social Club network.
Explaining the system, a Rockstar representative told NowGamer "You would use the ‘Ask the Community’ feature by spending an intuition point when undergoing an interrogation. The game will then provide statistics for all online players that have asked that question and highlight the answers that were opted for by way of a percentage."

This 'ask the audience' type feature then allows the player to pick a response, by choosing "what direction to go in based on the percentage of other players’ responses. The player would need to be online to benefit from this feature."
Rockstar then went on to provide additional information about LA Noire, "Intuition points are gained throughout the game in various ways (discovering landmarks, answering questions correctly etc) and can be used as an aid if the player runs into any difficulty – removing incorrect answers in an interrogation, locating all remaining clues at a crime scene and as mentioned above, asking the community."
Rockstar also told us that this feature is entirely optional, intended only as an assist to players, "The key point though is that using intuition points is entirely optional, players never have to use them if they don’t want to."
