I know this sounds like a stupid question, but what does rep actually do?, i know that only certain people can do it but what does it do.

Other members decide that. Impress them, say something cool or find something nice

Well it depends on the member usually. Some only give when they are amused. And from them some are amused only when they see new DMC4 info
