Reboot Pros and Cons ( no rants or pointless arguments)

Pros:
-New fresh approach
-New DMC game
-Vergil might be in it?
-New default enemy types are welcome, because DMC's enemy archetypes were getting stale.

Cons:
-Another capcom reboot, which will be mediocre at best considering capcom's previous reboots (except RE4).
-Unproven developer making the game, who aren't known for deep combat engines but rather flashy 30 fps fighting engines
-Uninspiring design, which doesn't seem to fit well into the DMC atmosphere

I think the game looks fairly alright according to the trailer. Nice environment. What might be bad is that they might be taking away the elements that make Dante the man we all came to love.

~Pros~
-Great trailer fight scene
-A chance with Vergil
-New weapons and gameplay
-I think that even though Ninja Theory use a low engine, they still did a pretty good job at the trailer and are still able to make it look nice

~Cons~
-Smoke? Only the Snake family can look cool doing that
-Black hair? Hopefully it's dye and not turning
No "GUNS". Dante had muscle. This guy is pretty scrawny

Now, where's the Rebellion? That sword thing in the trailer can't be it cuz it was stretchy and bendy. Hopefully the fighting/gameplay won't be like "God of War" cuz there are enough copycats out there and being stylish was a main element in the DMC franchise.

Guess that raps up my list. Tried not to post what others did already but kinda failed at it.

-devil may cry gets westernized (wait isn't dante already white?)

-ninja theory gets conceited

-capcom makes more money

The trailer for the new DMC is pretty cool, the whip he uses to grab the car & take out a group of evil doing demons looks cool. If it is a look at Dante as a young lad then I suppose it could provide an insight to how he became the ass kicking demon slayer we have come to know & love.

Like others who have posted I cannot comment on the game from a trailer but there are a couple of points that I hope they do not skip over. First being Vergil, his twin brother. There has to be a reference to him being his brother & all. The change from a camp looking, boy band member to who we know as Dante & probably what I would consider the most important, Sparda, his father. Who he is & if there was a mother for Dante & Vergil or were the a divine creation of evil.....

I hope Capcom don't make this a closing chapter of DMC. There is so much more that can be done with it, unless they have run out of ideas. I personally can't wait for the game to come out, DMC is one of my favourite game series and would love it to continue.
