Well, so far the general consensus from those who've played the demo that I know or read is roughly:

"As a melee action game it's alright, but Bayonetta and DMC3 just **** all over it."

'Alright' doesn't cut it for me, especially since it's all been redesigned and plugged as "it's gonna be great". As I suspected...

I don't know where you've been looking but from my observation, the general consensus is "The game is good in it's own right but it's not like the older DMC games."
 
Lexy, if you are looking for a pure DMC3-4/Bayonetta experience, then yeah, you shouldn't look here. It's cool.

Yeah I am.
It wasn't on PSN (my psn) until 3pm (if not a little after). I have it now of course.

I like it, but we've seen it in past trailers, i thought they may have pulled something new 'out of the hat'.
