The shading on characters is really shakey and patchy. This problem has been here since the demo. It makes cutscenes look terrible. Has anyone found a solution to this? (other than buying it on PC).

I noticed this as well. The shaders on the PS3 aren't exactly perfect- I believe it's because the PS3 uses OpenGL, and the Unreal engine hasn't built proper support for everything in OpenGL yet. Or at least, that's my guess.

If this is the case, there's probably no way to fix it, aside from patching Unreal. Apparently Ninja Theory has created their own modified version, so if they had a 3D engineer they may be able to do it through an update. Fortunately, most of the best scenes in the game don't have the kind of light where this would show up.

Although I love the PS3 for various reasons, this is one really good reason to get the PC version, to get the best visual experience. Of course, the colors and texture quality on the PS3 seem to be better than the XBOX 360 version from the comparison shots I've seen.

That's a shame. I was hoping it was something that could be corrected.

If your PC can run it, you really should be getting that version.

I'd say they even made a great job considering PS3's history with the Unreal Engine.

My PC can't run anything. I'd invest in a good computer but hospital bills take most of my money before I ever see it.
