Post 1 Positive and 1 Negative thing about the new Devil May Cry!

Negative: The game looks really easy a this point. It seems like the enemies are more interested in admiring the scenery than killing Dante.

Positive: A new perspective on DMC, with(presumably) a better story and more interesting characters.

Possitive: Well, it's getting alot of sopposrt from all who've played it so it can't be all too bad.

Negative: It needs therapy to get more possitive results from everyone. What's next? The trust box? The talking stick? Or maybe the good all seperation trail.

Positive: It's got nothing holding it back in terms of an unfinished story or worrying about whether it stays canon or not. It's got the benefit of a fresh(ish) start so anything can happen :D

Negative: It's a risky move that could alienate a lot of people who would otherwise have made up a significant part of the potential fanbase.

Positive: Music as ranking system.

Negative: Too much reliance on air combos. That SOB doesn't come down once he jumps up in the aIr. Too bad I can only post one.

Postive: The game play isn't as janky and slow as I thought it would be. In fact, I think that it's rather fast and with a little more tweaking, it could rival that of past DMC games.
Negative: The environments. Even though they look nice and all, some of them don't have that 'demonic' feel. I'm not saying all of them are bad though. The tunnel, ghost town limbo, and the dome looks great.

Positive:It might revive the devil may cry series again that is why there is a reboot after all.The gameplay is refined and amazing.Of course the final one is the potential of this new series and how will the story goes.

Negative:As i said it might revive the series but what if is this new series failed?......................................................
Many people are still not that fond to the new dante,30 fps and the difficulty. It looks easy.

It looks easy.
I know I'm in a minority of probably about 1, but a game that looks like I can complete it without feeling like it's an uphill struggle is incredibly appealing, and not because I want achievements but because I suck. Pure and simple. There are maybe about 4 games I can complete on my own without help from anyone and it would be nice to be able to increase that number.

I don't know if it will have a difficulty slider but I would love it if it did because then I could perhaps be able to play and stand a chance of getting further than the first loading screen ;)

There will be difficult slider. And hey many of my gaming memories consists of beating a difficult situation . So you should enjoy that things are difficult for you. When you achieve to beat that difficulty then you will enjoy the game more :D

Well devil may cry is known for being the hardest hack and slash(Correct me if i'm wrong but to me its harder than God of war or ninja gaiden)and even though its hard,i absolutely love the way it is because it really improves my gaming skills and capabilities.Well thats just me lol

Positive:

A new game. A new world. New stuff to find. A new story. You get the idea.

Negative:

As I'm not really a fan of aerial combat (DBZ is always excluded) I never probably will enjoy the new DT as much as I did the traditional one.

Positive: Could become Batman Begins.

Negative: Could become Castlevania: Lords of Shadow or Bomberman: Act Zero.

I'm really liking the game, so a negative will be hard.
Pro: Story looks much better and thought out. Not only that, the great graphics compliment the games plot, switching from the bland, grey world of reality and the colorful, vibrant world of Limbo City.
Con: Locking it to 30 fps wasn't the best idea.

Pros : gameplay, music as a ranking system, a new and improved story.
Cons: We know nothing on the story T_T

Positive: It's an alternative and interesting take on the series that looks fresh, serious, and coherent. All the things NT is good at, and all of the things DMC4's story decided not to be. The story and presentation both have a lot of room to develop and very little chance to disappoint, given NT's track record.

Negative: Unreal, sadly. NT's use of the Unreal Engine raises concerns not only over the framerate (going from 60 to 30 frames per second is a very unfortunate loss) but also over the game's physics and the enemies' weight. Unless they really buckle down on that, there will be even more trouble.

positive: the combat system looks like it improves on the previous games

negative: the new Devil Trigger doesn't look like a good idea so far.
