Matthew Farrell- a 29 year old Irish American private detective with the supernatural ability of Fusion. He inherited the ability to fuse with demons from his father and doesn't like it. A veteran of WW1 and works for the FBI on supernatural matters. He gets tasked with investigating an asylum at the beginning of the story.
outside of Fusion, he uses a mix of martial arts and a shotgun in battle.
Emilia Dawson- A 25 year old member of the UK secret service. She went missing after the UK ambassador to Japan was murdered.
She is also a cyborg which is what her playstyle is built around.
Suseri Otsuki- a teenage priestess that works for Kamizumi, the Japanese empire's monster extermination force.
uses magic mirrors in combat.
Vito Andolini- a 39 con artist with a dark past. Used to be a former member of the Hellounders and is on the run from them.
uses illusions in combat and can copy opponents moves.
Goliath- a robot created by Victor Frankenstein. He is over 100 years old but spent most of it enslaved by various forces, leaving him with a fear of trusting others.
his weapon is described as " round things".
Candy Nation- a private school student with an interest in suffrage rights.
Uses a hammer in fights.
Luca- a young man held captive in a castle because of his supernatural abilities. he could create shockwaves and transform into a wolf.
Roxanne- a jazz singer that is half human half vampire.
