As i mentioned in the thread that i made for the magazine 'scans', NT Have promised some multiplayer modes and co-op online play... personally, the past games haven't had it and i don't see the new game needs it either. but like i said, that's my opinion.

DISCLAIMER: I would like to point out this has been written in a gaming magazine with no official word from NT or Capcom themselves... I would like to advise fans to take this news with 'a pinch of salt'.
 
it will be good now i wont have to find some special way for 2 player like on dmc 3 i always had to let sis be the dopple ganger it was annoying she always got lost because she was a shadow and the camera only followed me

if you've not got a console linked up to the 'net, you can't get those achievements... to get 1000 gamerpoints on most 360 games, you've got to be online... I will never get 1000 gamerpoints on any games... :(

I get your point. I've never utilized online co-op or even downloaded dlc's cause connectivity where i live sux. But multiplayer seems interesting as long as it's not online based,i'm sure we'll get a kick out of it. I've got two favours i wanna ask:
1)whats the name of the magazine you saw this info.
2)if it's not too much to ask could you kindly quote the part of the magazine where it was stated that DmC would have multiplayer and online co-op. Pretty please with sugar on top.
 
Definitely not a fan of this idea.

Like I said in the multiplayer thread, I just do not think multiplayer fits right with the DMC style.

It just does not seem right to me.
 
1. X360 (Xbox 360) Magazine (it's an independent magazine). Issue 80.
2. The picture i posted in the Original post (the orange box). NT have promised it, but it's the first i've heard about it. (plus i've always thought that if it were going to be announced a big magazine (like the official 360 mag) would have done it.

Perhaps take it with a pinch of salt atm....
 
I don't much care for online co-op in console games. :/ I think I've played Call of Duty, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Wolfenstein online a few times and that was it. Aside from trying to get more points than someone else and showing it off, which I'm too lazy to do, I tend to get bored fast.

Hopefully this won't mean they will cut corners with the single player experience.
 
Well this is interesting, I wonder what it is exactly? My guess is that it would be multiplayer in bloody palace or something.

i've written a disclaimer on my original post... i just wanted to share this tid-bit i found with everyone
 
I really wouldn't be surprised if it's true. Everything has to have some online vs/co-op mode now doesn't it.
 
It could be like Dante's Inferno (the game) with those Lucia's Trials, but with Bloody Palace multiplayer! Would be cool.
 
Oh God have mercy on our souls :oops: Multiplayer? On a DMC game? How??? The only way I can think of is if two highly skilled players go head to head on a one-on-one battle...and who knows if that would work? I don't like the sound of it. As long as it doesn't affect the game too much, I'll be fine, though.
 
i think if they use the idea that many of the fans want of the multiplayer/co-op bloody palace mode then that would be very good! :) but if they are trying to force the multiplayer in there, like alot of games are trying to do these days then bad capcom >:( i am interested in learning more about this
