:shifty: thats the point dude as it would give Dante more investment in the mission than some douche who claims to be his uncle. Unless you have him have a relationship with his uncle prior to game's events but it would be better if said uncle was human and raised him.
But either way its a different spin and a good way to bring in DmC lore into the classic series. An easier way to do it would be with lady or beryl or nell but..
