Wasn't the game supposed to have the largest number of weapons in the series? 5 mele and 3 fire arms. Someone once told me that they did the math and it should be around 12 weapons. A few shy a full set.

now we dont know these are all the weapons. perhaps you only get acheivements for these weapons because they have story significance in the game.

I agree there should also be more boss fights in the game, according to trophies 5-6 or something ...

EDIT: Methinks they should've made that "Defeated Vergil" achievement a secret one, but it is nice to see reboot Vergil's Rape faic

The OP: actually do the math, you had 4 devil arms (as Dante, counting Yamato as well) and 8 guns (counting some of Pandora's forms) that's 12 "tools" at his disposal + 4 styles equals 16 "variables"
Nero had 3 devil arms (counting his arm and Yamato as well) and 2 guns (blue rose and summoned swords) + the charging system that modifies attacks, that's 6 "variables"

Compare that to DmC and you find out there are more gameplay options in DMC4.

I really wonder if the list is either incomplete or there is just a lot of stuff they couldn't correlate with the achievements/trophies.

I'm guessing incomplete, heck they have enough time to change all their trophies, I guess those are the ones they have at the moment.
