New Villains

Personally I'd like to see them try and Incorporate the "power-hungry Vergil", back into the game with a better sense of characterization and a much greater charm. Don't get me wrong, I loved the old Vergil, but I feel like his character has become slightly worn out with the, "I need more power" phrase and no real reason. He needs a greater reason for wanting power and such, such as Vergil wanting to free their father or do something to end the 'demon-war'. He needs a greater personality then just the words, "I need more power." If Capcom and NT could pull this off, and somehow incorporate a new version of Nelo Angelo, I would be extremely happy.

Maybe a crazy rogue angel. Michael/Gabriel...sent to destroy the last Nephilim, because it's an afront to god or something. This storyline would allow him to discover/activate his angel trigger.

god as in the old bearded man in robes watching over us while sitting atop a cloud or an energy coursing through the universe that determines the course of our lives through a very intricate set of coincedences? Cause either way your argument is invalid.

Just my honest opinion, but this conversation is reaching into a realm that doesn't need to be discussed on this part of the forum in my opinion.

The kind of discussion that may lead to one unintentionally insulting someone's personal beliefs tend to end badly.

Not to mention it would be offtopic...

So hopefully its over.

And as far as new enemies goes, I would like to see Death make a appearance in this series as a main badguy.

What about fallen angels such as...
- Abaddon
- Astaroth
- Azazel
- Mephistopheles
- Faust

Perhaps, but I mean like how in Constantine the one doing the "evil" was actually Gabriel. I can't imagine Lucifer being the only angel with an axe to grind. So I was referring to actual angels not fallen ones.

But out of the fallen, I'd go with Azazel (Lucifer's right hand man) and Astaroth....Astaroth mainly so we can actually have a female in this new series who's attractive. Literally...all the females in DmC are hideous.

you could not be more correct :) and i dont see why death should be a bad guy /: i would be more interested to see something in which we think theres a new demon king but its just the angels controlling him and the demons making them do horribe things to humans to "scare them straight" or preserve the balance of power between the two races and then dante finds out and you have to fight some human size angels as bosses

Gabriel will do. He'll at first have doubts about Dante but later on in a boss battle, some angels stop Gabriel's madness and probably arrest him. Some angels accept Dante due to those that still care about Eva.

I had the idea that a group of corrupt archangels that had an arrangement with Mundus (what the arrangment is i havent decided) are ****ed at the power vacuum created by the nephilim, also the nephilim are just as much of a threat to them as well, also i thought it would be cool if the Archangels were being lead by Eva's brother who's pretty ****ed at Sparda and detests his half breed nephews, I also wanted a subplot (and possible dlc expansion) called Vergil's uprising where Vergil attempts to overthrow both heaven and hell setting himself up as the antagonist of the third game.
