His face looks like a very upgraded drone enemy doesn't it?
Both of their faces are completely white and has black or red tears streaming like blood out of their eyes. (This is devil may CRY isn't it?)

I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case. I think they originally wanted to go with 2010 Dante, but the trollbase got involved and they had to change things a bit because of that (make him more muscular, cocky etc.).
