New DmC Trailer.

Wow I wish people knew how to quote properly. And there's a difference - I am defending myself. Perhaps it would have been more mature to ignore this entire thread of blithering nuisances being thrown at me, but I felt like I should have said something in return instead of being stepped on like a door matt. Anyway, I feel no point in responding to anything else, I had no idea this fanbase suddenly decided to take a rude approach to things. Disappointing
No one likes a whiner. If you want to cause drama rather than make a good mature argument then leave.
Dramaaaaaa!

Anyway, anyway, what if Dante does something completely unpredictable? What if he's really a bad guy? :O
I've said this for awhile. That would be awesome! A Dante leaning on the border of good and bad would be great.

Really...where are these arguments.....
and its a reboot so anything goes...they can make him a badguy but then that ruins the initial plot of the story and why he is fighting Mundus

Revenge. Maybe Mundus has done something to him, and Dante is driven by his own personal gain.

*shrug* Old Dante sucked. This new Dante appeals to me.

.

Kind of a weird thing to say if you ask me...

Simply because lately it seems that NT has been modeling his behavior and attitude after DMC3 Dante's if you ask me, only more "over the top".

but then how does that make him different to other gaming characters out there...if anything...he is just....a game character then...its like when Kratos is getting revenge on Aeres because of his own personal vendetta then goes after the gods...

Nyah, this sucks, I can't see it but I think I already have so I'd give it a rating of HOLY ****, THAT IS THE AWESOMEST CLIP I"VE EVER SEEN OF DmC SO FAR...:D:w00t:

They tried the whole "Dante turned his back on humanity" thing in DMC4, but It never really sold. This is a good way to redeem themselves for that! All and all, its getting better!:) keeperup, NT!

Wait what? when did Dante turned his back on humanity in DMC 4...I didn't see none of that

Dante? You mean the guy who made a point to tell the other guy that he lost because he turned his back on his humanuty? That Dante? When?

Yes. Your point is? Old Dante hunted demons, because they killed his mother (technically just Mundus) and even after he avenged her, he still didn't stop hunting. Pretty much the same thing here.

I think he means, when he shot the Pope in the beginning and it wasn't sure what the **** just happened. It sure seemed like Dante went rogue there, but I didn't buy it.

No right here they picked on him when he was small...that is basically it...well so far all they said about the reason why he hunts demons....no real cause behind it....

They explain it on the back of the case for DMC4. (the whole killing sanctus thing in public made it seem like he was killing people instead of demons.) As you play the game, the truth unfolds, and you realise that everyone is a demon. In reality, Dante never did turn his back, but Capcom wanted people to think this way. (probably a marketing stratagy)

I know. I'm proving a point by comparing old Dante's motives. My post is pretty clear on that.
How would a youth full of torture not motivate you to kill demons on sight? They made his life hell, now it's payback-time.
Sounds reasonable to me.

The point that im trying to say is that it sounds Cliche

And I'm saying, that stereotypes reign the media nowadays anyways.
It's almost impossible to invent something new; everything has been done already.
Yea your right..its hard to come up with something original...but what NT has shown is that it takes stuff from other games...they don't improve it or anything like that its just the same thing.....no inovation....

i have to disagree with you. for me they are definitely bringing innovation in two ways that i can think of: an environment that actually is trying to kill you, and the music increasing as your style increases.
those are two innovations i've never seen in any game.

The button layout seems more efficient than dmc4. On paper, it would seem a lot less cluttered and you don't have to risk moving your thumb from the left joy stick to switch styles because all of the styles are merged between human, angel and demonic forms. To me, thats an improvement.
