I'll be short and clear on this.
Only way that it can be justified...
Is that this Dante his hair changes to white when he gets his Devil Powers.
(And still the question would remain why Nero had it from the start... or did he not and we did not see that transformation)

Any1 agree?

I think he maybe dyed his hair after his mother was killed, so that they don't recognize him as the son of Sparda and called himself Tony or Anthony?? And when he was caught and put in asylum/jail, his hair was still growning soo the white hair part becomes more visible when it grows!?

I think the he dyed his hair to show that he is rebelling against his demon blood...He wanted to appear normal, more human, be on his own and just Dante not Dante the son of Sparda. The dyed hair is synonym of a Dante which is not comfortable in his skin according to me.

That wouldn't work as he got his powers in 3 where he already had white hair.

Alex Jones in the interviews says he has a white patch. Dyed hair.

So which brings me to a possible. "CREATE YOUR OWN LOOK" ala GTA3 and 4, where in you can go to a shop or your house to change clothing.

Yet another thread about Dante's looks and how someone dislike it. It's getting old, guys. Search the forum for threads already made about this topic and post in there instead, please.

I think he'll start dying it purple and green by the end of the game, as to embrace his demonic heritage more fully.

/sarcasm. Another hair thread? Really?

EDIT: Aaaaand Asmodaius beat me to it!

Asmo, I think you failed in reading the OP. This isn't against the look, it is asking for how it can be justified if we assume that Dino is Dante from the regular series.

Which btw, he isn't. It doesn't have to be justified because it isn't a prequel.

And hair topics are valid topics, in that Dante's most striking attributes are his hair and his coat. When you change one, or both, of those, people are going to talk. After all, doesn't this topic and all its redundant relatives attest to the genius of Capcom's marketing strategy?

Is there any legit proof about this game featuring a new Dante and being a completely new reboot though? Any info straight from Capcom or NT?

Because honestly, from what I've read from their interviews so far, it seems very... vague. That, and there are a ton of other fans going around saying that this does feature the same Dante and that it is an origin story, but then they have no proof to back it up...

Yes, I'm still confused about this being a direct prequel or an alternate universe thing, lol.
