Need help Mission 9

Hi Guys
I have a problem cleaing mission 9, not sure if I need to do something, but I managed to kill most of the demons and got the blue orb, but I cannot sem to get the tree out of the bridge. This is where I am stuck.
Any ideas.......:O

Go back to the entrance hall way (where the combat adjucator is) and on the CA's side there is a set of stairs that open when the lasers are active...go up and continue.

(the boss fight at the end triggers the tree's destruction)
