Resident Evil - Deadly Secret
Before I start I would like to say that I’m not a writer or a story teller so forgive me. The reason why I have decided to write a short story based on Resident Evil is because it’s my favourite gamer series and I know allot about the series. This story takes place after Resident Evil 4 but before 5. The first chapter will be short to test the reaction of you guys and see what you think , and if successful then the other will be much longer
List of characters
Leon Kennedy – Main protagonist – After the events of Resident Evil 4, Leon is now working alone and has been given a mission by an anonymous person. He has been sent to Peru as intelligence suggests that Albert Wesker has been spotted nearby the city of Ica.
Kelly Hardy – She has been working for the British Secret Service as an agent for a short while but has asked to accompany Leon in his mission. Kelly may seem a novice but does she hold the key to Leon’s survival?
Ada Wong – It seems where ever Leon is, Ada isn’t too far behind. But is Ada still working for Wesker or does she have a personal stake in this mission?
Albert Wesker – Main Antagonist – After retrieving the sample of las Plagas from Ada , Wesker is trying to infect civilians with it . But surly that’s too easy for Wesker, so what else is he planning?
Emily Harrison – A British tourist who is looking for her husband John Bishop after he disappeared during their holiday. Emily will hold nothing back in order to find her husband even if that means someone has to die.
Chapter 1
Leon’s plane touched down at the airport to find it deserted, he wasn’t expecting anyone there as the country closed its boarders due to an outbreak of Plagas. But the world was told there had been an outbreak of swine flu and closing the boarders was the only way to stop the spread of the disease.
As Leon reached the entrance, he saw a package lying on the reception desk with his name on it, as he opened it up there were pictures of Wesker and a 9mm handgun inside. Along with the gun and the picture there was a letter from his employer saying to go to the city of Ica and there he will find Wesker. Leon walked out the entrance to find a ford focus waiting and some keys on the seat. Leon was starting to feel the heat of the sun and took off his brown leather jacket and got into the ford and drove to the nearest services where he would meet his partner for his mission Kelly Hardy.
After driving an hour or so with only a couple of music tapes to keep him company, Leon was glad to finally arrive at the services. As he stepped of the car he noticed a shadow moving in front of the window to the services, he drew his gun and entered slowly. After a stealthy entrance, Leon was sure he was imagining the shadow as after fifteen minutes of looking around he couldn’t see anyone. So he sat down and waited for the arrival of his partner to be.
He waited for what felt like a lifetime, but eventually Kelly turned up and sat next to him. After exchanging pleasantries, Leon showed Kelly the photos of Wesker and briefed her on the task at hand. Kelly nodded as she took in the information Leon was telling her, he went through the aims which were to search for Albert Wesker and destroy any attempt at to release a virus. After an hour of Leon briefing Kelly, they made their way to the car to find it had been de-faced with graffiti. Leon looked around to try and find who did this, he saw no-one. Kelly on the other hand was too busy going through the notes she taken from Leon’s brief. Leon stepped back into the car and Kelly joined him, they drove away from the service station.
“Well, Well, Well .... Looks like I have some new toys to play with! “
