Ugh none of those please..

But DmC2 needs to bring back orchestral tracks. I find the music in DmC pretty bad, though I didn't like the battle theme music in DMC3 or DMC4 (THE TIME HAS COME AND SO HAVE IIII!)...

Hey, why isn't Nickelback on there?
I like Combichrist's and Noisia's work with DmC. I guess it's like Tameem said about making a game with modern sounds and looks. It just fits DmC because of how it was created and centered around. The DMC series had a gothic, heavy rock and metal theme that works with it. But DmC works more with grunge?, bass and drum, or whatever the genre is called. I don't listen to a lot of music similar to that style, but DmC did open me up to it. The Glitch Mob would be great as well, thanks DmC. So more bass and drum, some rock here and there, more electronica? or dubstep? (don't know what the Glitch Mob would be classified as), and maybe some Clint Mansell or Daniel Licht (love his song for Dishonored's ending, "Honor for All").

Y'know what I'd like? A game with Nujabes' work or similar styles of his pieces. And more games with a similar music style to inFamous 2's. There's one part in the game that features a track with mostly drums and drumsticks which sounded amazing. It had a tribal/primal feel to it.

Can't they bring back the bands & artists DMC3 & DMC4 had?
Shootie HG? Yeah, probably, unless he's under a contract with another company. Upon further reseach, Shootie HG is part of a band called Hostile Groove, don't know what they're up to. And most of the songs I think were composed by Capcom; Tetsuya Shibata and Kento Hasegawa.

I built a playlist of songs I could play to get in that "F**KING S**T UP" mood required for DmC.

And then I heard the soundtrack.

It's fine as it is. Whatever NT does next is gonna be great, but I hope they add more orchestral pieces.

Mostly Blue Stahli works, in my opinion. Hell, I even asked Bret himself how would he feel if they used his songs in Devil may Cry and he said "I love showing up in video games! that would be cool as hell."
This one is made for Halo though, I think it fits more with DmC in possibly the nightclub mission or any other future places kind of like that.
and for jokes this one should play when he gets Devil Trigger
BUT, what we do need is the TGS 2011 trailer and TGS 2010 debut trailer songs to be in the sequel, or just out in general.
