this thread is in three parts:

  1. Now in the new trailer we see a suited man who seems to be Mundus, he has the symbol of three eyes on his forhead. im wondering is it a man possesed by sparda? Is he stuck in human form? is he just choosing to stay in human form? or is that what he actually looks like?
  2. "mundus" mention sparda and how he was "too big for his f*king boots" now does this mean Mundus beat Sparda completely in this universe or did Sparda do something to Mundus we dont know yet?
  3. the asumed leader of the order we see has white (possibly platinum) hair. so does this mean he is vergil? or possibly sparda himself? if either are true why are they keeping their identities secret from the order?

It COULD be Sparda. Like I said:

That could might as well be possible, actually. We only hear that Sparda gave Dante his sword, so him being the leader of The Order, hiding from Mundus (maybe because he has lost his powers somehow) could be plausible.

I'm positive it is Vergil. The 4chan guy said that Vergil was wearing all black and that he was hiding from Mundus, so I assume that since the masked man was wearing black, he must be Vergil.

i was thinking maybe in this universe he LOST against mundus.loosing his powers in the process, so he founded the order to fight demons another way.
If Sparda lost to Mundus in the DmC universe, then there is no worth, no prestige and no honor to be called the son of Sparda.

The only time we hear that is when the demon says "son of Sparda." But simply by being a well known demon and betraying their kind could give him a good (but negative) reputation among the demons. So he won't be "the legendary dark knight that helped humanity" but just "some dude that created The Order (a terrorist organization)" or something like that. Obviously, Sparda's work was never done, look how the demons are controlling society and stuff....

Mundus seems like the big bad but im guessing the guy with the mask trying to be anon is either vergil or nero.

Sparda could still be the leader but way behind scenes and letting vergil step up as a sign of trust and allowing him to grow up and take the reigns so to speak.

I liked the face he made on the second one. He looked bored, as if telling the demon to shut up already.

But I think those were pre-rendered cutscenes, which will obviously make his face detail much better.

i think its vergil...i mean when the guy with the mask was speaking and he turned his head really fast....witch i thought it was wired cuz he didnt have to do that at all....so this has VERGIL written all over it :D

i think at some point in the interview back at E3 tameem said they weren't pre-rendered
