Guys, if you want to 'fight' do so between yourselves, not in public. I can see why you disagree and where each one's coming from, but it is besides the point of the thread. Chat on topic and nicely, or not all. Don't let small annoyances frustrate you;)

Any more post between the two of you that suggests that one of you slightly annoyed the other will be deleted. Continue this using PM's if you really have to.

No, because it's important with same character and story too for me. And with having read up about Tameem and Capcom i have taken a choice not to contribute to game companies like them.

I will however follow the game on Youtube.

Fair enough.
But, pardon me, it tugs pleasantly at my corners of mouth that you are indeed interested enough to check it out through YouTube. =)

Well, seeing from the gameplay trailers we've seen so far, the combat gameplay is quite close to the past games, but updated and with more aerial combat as well.

I agree on this. The battling seems similar and there are old moves mixed withing the new ones. I like it.

They probably tried to update the old gameplay moves will still keeping some trademark attacks. I guess moves like Stinger etc, will probably remain.

Yeah, like i said story and character is another reason why i reject DmC (as in not buying it). I am curious as to how the game will be though. I have said many times if DmC was a new game i would have been more interested. But even if the game is good or not i will never buy it.

I have a game called "Demon's Souls" (Gameplay game, very little story). Pretty good action RPG game but had it's flaws. When developers announced a spiritual successor i got really hyped for months. When game came out and got 9.5 /10 from Gamespot and it looks good to me i didn't buy it. I have my reasons for not buying it, but i may wait til it becomes cheaper before i buy it. Or it can be a game for some other years :D

I see similar attacks. But so far i haven't see Million stab. And that's 1/2 very important attacks in DMC.

Quite big of an elaboration. I should've guessed that coming.
Anyway, I only saw the gunslinger move with his guns. Though I found a lot of similarity like Nero's DB changed into Dante's "Sword Bringer"... Dante's has a DT similar to Quicksilver.... Dante's Trickster 2nd level (don't know the name of move, pardon my ignorance) changed into Glide.... And whatnot, here also Dante has a sword and gun gameplay... Lots of similarity.

EDIT: Found one more... Dante's does a similar move like Nero's Roullete Spin.

Well, what is it you don't understand? Look at the gameplay trailers and see for yourself. It looks like the same kind of gameplay as seen in the past games.

All i did was that i asked a question if that dude is Tameem antoniades and if it is he looks alot like dante.i didnt say he is tameem lol.didnt think it would turn out into an argument

I feel you. All I did was play along with you because I thought it was fun. I meant no harm; I guess I'm one of the rare individuals who think Tameem is a good guy. But still arguments broke free. Oh well.... that's the human nature I guess. xD

also!
Dante has a dash in move, like stinger, but more so of Nero's attack. There's rain storm and rising rain storm now. I think i saw dante preform two types of roullete spins, one with rebellion, and one with the sythe. He also has the charged up single shot, like nero. He also does High Times and Helm Breaker. You can preform another form of High Times with the sythe, and with the ax, you can preform another version of Helm Breaker. He has a dodge. His whip works more like Bayonettas whip by being able to bring an enemy in or pull yourself towards the enemy.
The basic ground combos seem fundamentally the same, with the ability to use High time anytime or the "stinger". Same for the sythe. I think the delay combo input is still there, because the sythe has two distinct versions of a ground combo. Dunno about the ax tho (the guy at the stage demo played to horrid for me to stand and watch)
Since there isnt any style change, rebellion can hack away in the air at anytime, same goes for the sythe, but in addition rebellion has a single hit launcher while in the air and the sythe has like a triple hit launcher while in the air

i guess that happens alot on this forum.i also dont think Tameem is a bad guy or good we dont even know the dude.

The combat isnt that much different, its just there's more options to choose from now. And it doesnt require you to change styles completely to do certain moves, they've all been designed within the "stance" you choose. I never liked the style change in DMC4, it was rather hard for me to constantly switch between all the styles. Now i can switch to 3 styles in a single combo, but i wont be switching weapons, because thats also another place where they went wrong in my book in DMC4. 3 weapons to toggle is also a flaw for me because i often would switch to a weapon i wouldnt want. DMC3 was the best. But now all you have to do is hold a trigger and you change completely, without taking your thumbs off of Dante's movement. Giving you the freedom to move and change "stances" at will.
Im sure the Tru Style players will R*pe this game and preform combos i'll only dream of, but as far as it is now, i think i'll be able to do some nice combo's myself

Tameem said that DMC fans are secretly excited for the game. and i think some people took it as arrogance

even though when dmc's on a tv commercial, it always gets me excited:D
