maybe its just me, but...

i never saw frost, fetish or shadow enemies in dmc1. maybe it's because i haven't played it for a while, or because there not on the english version of the game.

ps. theres an enemy on the game called bloody mari that sounds a lot like this fetish enemy.
 
Maybe u haven't played it in normal or higher difficulty?
I also wasn't aware of that and played it in easy automatic because it was more relaxing:P One day I decided to become better by playing normal/hard/etc and from the 4th stage things are getting really harder since Shadow is really a formidable opponent the first time.
Its their way of making the game easier/harder... in the Easy Automatic it has less enemies and in the Hard&above it has more powerful enemies in places that used to have Marrionette:lol:
 
frosts and fetishs appear more frequently on normal mode or higher.

so i'v just got to play a higher difficulty? got to wait for my friend to finish borrowing it so i can do that then!
 
You'll have a blast checking out the harder enemies and more challenging gameplay on the more difficult settings. Try playing on Dante Must Die difficulty if you have it available and you're feeling brave... ;)
 
^ oh man is that the greatest feeling ever beating that.
took me a while but man i felt invincible afterwards lol

On easy setting you do not face the Fetish or frost enemies. The shadow on the other hand comes when you destroy the lion statue in mission 4.
 
Only on Normal or higher. Otherwise you face Sin Scythes. Shadows only appear in Secret Missions and Frosts/Fetish don't appear full stop on Easy Auto, PERIOD!
 
No they don't, not on Easy Auto. In Easy Auto. the Shadows in normal game are replaced with Sin Scythes. As I said before, Shadows only appear in secret missions on Easy Auto.
 
OH SORRY! LOL I didn't know you were talking about Easy Auto lol :lol: Yeah you're right, sorry about that :)
 
Yeah, I forgot you don't ever face a shadow on Easy Auto. And I think you do face them in secret missions because I remember looking the missions up over the internet. They said nothing about the Shadows not appearing in the missions on Easy Auto.
 
The Shadows appear in Treasure of the Reaper/The Three Beasts/Hidden Bangle secret missions and that secret mission after you meet Nightmare the first time on Easy Auto and there they appear ONLY.
 
Frosts are a major pain in the *** to beat. Unless I do an Inferno with Ifrit a couple of times to them I don't know what else to do exept to shoot at them for ages.
 
so... to devilmaycry the admin/webmaster, the bloody mari enemy is not on this website. i know this should be in the bottom forum (i forget what it's called) but it goes with what i said before about the fetish enemy sounding like the bloody mari enemy.
 
Fetish are annoying when they block you attack and fire flames at you. The flames are really hard to avoid!

Maybe they haven't Bloody Mari 'cause he's basically a red Marrionette. Even in the discription the only deference is something about being covered with blood or sth:lol:
