Sony Computer Entertainments president Kaz Hirai has recently said in an interview with Official PlayStation Magazine that it could be anywhere from four, five or six years down the line before we see any games using any real PS3 power.

Kaz Hirai said:
The power that we've packed into PS3 will really manifest itself in software titles that come up four, five or six years down the line.

He also had this to say about the 'issue' of certain developers finding PS3 tough to develop for.

Kaz Hirai said:
If you look back at the commentary we received when we launched PS2, there was a lot of talk to the effect that 'It's very difficult to program for' and 'It's easier on a Dreamcast'. It's happened before... If they came back and told me, 'PS3? We can do this in a heartbeat,' that would be worrying because what it is telling me is that we're not pushing the envelope from a technology standpoint.

Make of this what you will...

This is no good then. If Sony wanted to make any game to surpass any antagonism with the other companies now she simply cannot. Pity though, since new consoles appear every almost 10 years, unless the PS3 intends to stay on business longer than the previous PSs I don't see anything good about that..

They previously stated that the PS3 was a 10 year console. I also see the very bad points that came from this article and its bad news for PS3 owners hoping for something groundbreaking soon that could test its power and prove that the PS3 is worth its pricetag and hype.
