magic the gathering, battlefeilds

i just got this game and up loaded it to my pc, but every time i go online, no one's on. why is this?

^I haven't played this game, although a few of my friends did.

I would simply assume (based on my friends) that players are either a) in another timezone, or b) playing World of Warcraft ^^
