Legacy Of Kain characters in Lara Croft DLC

Legacy Of Kain fans have an early and thoroughly unexpected Christmas present: characters Kain and Raziel have been added as downloadable characters for Lara Croft And The Guardian Of Light.

It's seven years since the last entry in the Legacy Of Kain series and during that time there's not been a breath spoken about a new game, either by original publishers Eidos Interactive or their new masters Square Enix.

So it's a real surprise to find both Kain and Raziel wandering around The Guardian Of Light's Tomb Raider-ish corridors. They seem to be based on their appearance in Soul Reaver, still the most popular entry in the series, with the duo acting as replacements for the game's original characters Lara Croft and Totec.

The gameplay seems to be unchanged though, with the pair using both guns and spears. However, the trailer implies that new dialogue and perhaps a new ending has been produced. Apparently the download came out last week but we've not heard a word of it up until now and there's no mention of it on the official website.

This got a Major Facepalm and a huge WTF From me.
Yup, great to see they haven't forgotten about the series... but instead of messing around with DLC, WHAT ABOUT ANOTHER LOK GAME?!
I mean... 7 years! Come on CrystalSquaredos... whoever runs the company! Get another LoK game out PLEEEEEAAAAASSSSSSEEEEEE

As for the DLC itself. Great a chance to play as Kain and Raz, but come on... weilding guns! Its a half-arsed attempt. They should've gone the whole hog and stuck the Soul Reaver sword in too.

Please let there be another LOK game!!! and yea using guns for Kain and Raz doesn't seem right for them
