As far as Chinese goes I can only tell you what I've learned in Kung Fu.
Kung Fu means leisure time (which is ironic), Yin-Yang is the idea of opposites from the Taost studies. Tsu Men Chuan is poison fingers. Hsing I means inner power and chi is the guardian of life and blood.
All next to useless in general conversation but you need to know them when practicing Chang Hung Internal Kung Fu.
