That was pretty bizarre too. I didn't think they could work in a way that Sparda was a Saiyan into the plot in such a seamless way, but NT actually impressed me with how that didn't seem contrived or intrusive on their existing canon.

When you think about it, the plot of the original game makes a lot more sense now thanks to that twist. I tip my hat to you NT.
 
I can't believe the amount of violence and ferocity Vergil displayed in the video. Ripping a demons head off with his bare hands, destroying parts of the environment with his new DT, and ripping off his clothes in a deranged manor and going ape **** on everything.....

This may be the best DLC EVER!!!!

I can't stand it. I'm going to rush out and buy a second copy of DmC just so I can wait with baited breath for the update to hit PSN.

All that raw badass emotion right in the motion capture, and all without a word of spoken dialogue too...NT have truly learned the value of non-verbal conveyance in their story telling at long last.

And the twist...god...that was so powerful. The very idea that Vergil castrated himself to separate himself from human desires and fully cast aside his lust for Kat...I never thought it could be done with such solemnity and good taste in a mainstream product.

Standing in a torrent of Hell fire like a modern Cathar, burning away his every connection to humanity...I had to stop a tear in my eye.

This DLC will single handedly save the entire DMC franchise. All the blunders and mistakes of both DmC and the old DMC series will disapear like magic! It will make DmC the number one selling game of the year, and NT and Capcom will decide that this is the way they want to go with the series. They'll make a DmC2 will Vergil as the main character, and all the Vergil Fangirls will have a mass orgasm!

*sighs and gets ready to fend off the legions* Only makes it worse when you notice this universes Nero making a brief cameo if you look carefully in the teaser footage. That arm is UNMISTAKABLE.
