The only similarity I see is in the heavily darkened eyes, which I think is just an aesthetic preference. But it would be super hilarious if Kat's basically Lucia 2.0 "I'M A DEMON". I mean they're gonna have to explain the psychic ability somehow.

It would be interesting if she was part or quarter something actually, but the plot would get a tad convoluted and I like the idea of regular humans having a bit of power over their world. Small, but helpful.

I remember thinking that ages back, something along the lines of 'oh, her and Vergil must have a thing, some years later pop, there comes along Nero' but then when that Vergil trailer got released and it turned out he didn't give a damn about her...doubts. :lol:

I guess Nero could still be some relation to Kat if you remove Vergil from the picture. It never really was properly comfirmed (at least within the game) that Vergil was Nero's father. But it would be cool if it linked Kat up to the original series where I think Nero's mother's name was never revealed.

Yes but they still have characters and themes from the original series that appear. So it's possible in a later game Nero could in fact appear. Just in the timeline of this game, he doesn't exist :lol:

Sadly I don't think Kat's meant to be a love interest (NT even stated that) Still I'd love that if that was cannon within the game, even if they just had a little fling. But unlikely this will happen.

nero may act like dante in someways but in others hes like Vergil. craving for power aside. nero is cocky and proud like vergil. plus like Vergil he is straight forward and gets to the point. Dante doesnt mind the odd banter and jokes. nero doesnt put up with it. also like Vergil he has a dark anger that makes him ruthless and savage.

unlikely NT said she isnt meant to be Dantes girl in the game but his friend and i hope they stick to that. i dont want them shoehorning her as his love interest only for it to fade into obscurity in the next game. they should take a leaf out of the classic and just leave it ambiguous much more fun. and as for kyrie there is hope yet, i mean her brother is a royal knight i imagine she must have had SOME training in swords plus she is brave. hopefully this will carry on into DmC

Yeah, it's better they just stay as buddies. Trish is meant to step on the scene eventually. I think if they have any romance stuff (in terms of hinting it or just that special chemistry) they'll save it for Trish and whatever sequel she features in. I just hope they do her justice and that there aren't scary pink waterballoons tied to her chest.

yh that exactly (except) i prefer if it had lady (dont judge me). they should focus on the action drivven plot now and leave the heart throb moments for later..much much later.
