saw a comment on the article, someone said the the game series was an anime/manga turned into a video game, does NO ONE check their facts on the internet anymore, seriously, its not that hard to keep a google tab up to search for information

To be honest I don't think he cares about DMC anymore. While I'm sure he meant all those things he said about DmC I get the impression that he has become indiferent twards the franchise. I don't think it's recent, ether, but rather it's something that came about way back.
I've mentioned this before, I think, but I figuered the way alot of us reacted to DmC is how he felt about DMC2, and since that was about 10 years ago he's had pleanty of time to get over it and move on, and since he no longer has any influence over it itdoesn't matter.
It's just the impression that I get.

I can see that. If he wasn't ok with the past DMC, why would he be completely okay with DmC? Maybe he's alright with it because, hey, at least Capcom aren't using his Dante anymore.

Except that he's also been bitter and disrespectful after DMC2's behind the scenes debacle and treats people like they are beneath him. Someone asked what games he recommended for a certain genre, and he came them his usual "go ask your mom" response. this is seriously the "savior" of DMC that the anti's hoist up? a bitter "yo mamma" spewing manchild who keep repeating teh same game an plot in all his projects? I point to Bayonetta and say no more of Kamiya's "grand storytelling"; a fetishist' wet dream, and stealing DMC's diologue as well as plot elements from the DMC series whole sale, and claiming it's "an original storyline."

Personally i couldn't care less i mean to me it's just another opinion just like when David jaffe said "japanese games suck". Those guys aren't gods and their word sure isn't gospel. Good for NT though(even though Kamiya doesn't really compliment the game), maybe that will help some people chill out a little(yeah right...).
