IGN DmC - Studio Video Preview (Yes.. more footage...)

tomb raider has surpassed this just passed on the fact its an icon alone the media will eat that up when its time for it's release.right now the media is tryying to make the world realize DmC , I remember look at all the Top tens of e3 or the most wanted for this and that dmc would not make the list it was things like MGR, The Last of US ,Hitman, Tomb Raider and Beyond two souls.

When i start seeing DmC being mention and non related videos by gamer or even gaming channels or making top tens is when i feel like its made it. Right now it could be a sleeper hit capcom needs to treat it like a resident evil or a sf game for it can get recognized they but real money into advertising and hyping those games
that triple-posted for some reason, mate :/

Anyway, Capcom may start pumping a good bit of money into this advertising campaign. It's already getting a lot more publicity than Enslaved got, so it's off to a good start.

Enslaved got almost no advertising to speak of. I had no idea the game even existed until the reviews were coming out and I know many gamers who still don't. I think the only reason Enslaved is even as well-known as it is today is because many people wanted to check-out what Ninja Theory did before DmC so they could use it as a reason why they shouldn't be doing DmC.

Thus far it seems like DmC is getting the normal amount of advertising for most games. At least for me it doesn't feel like any more or any less than past DMC titles.

Yeah. And whats more sadder than that is DMC1
How Dante killed Nelo Angelo and then realised that he killed his brother Vergil. Such a stupid/sad death (I hope New Vergil in DmC series still alive by the end of the game).

Yeah after he was fleshed out so well in 3, it really made his death lame in 1. I don't think they will make that mistake again. I get the feeling that Vergil will survive, because the DLC looks like it takes place after the game.

Perhaps you will by the end of DmC, or should I say after the Downfall.
They should not do that. DmC is suppose to be a new story. No need to bring back the old actions.
Yeah Vergil's Downfall can't be in limbo, It looks like it's in the demon world after DMC3 and how Vergil fight for his life in that world. But there's no need for Nelo Angelo.

I guess we will just have to see where Ninja Theory takes Vergil's fate after Downfall.

Nelo Angelo was the best boss in DMC, i liked him better than Vergil in DMC3. I thought Dante's Doppleganger was cool too, except the fight was lame.

Hey, it's not like becoming Nelo Angelo in DmC would have the same circumstances as it did in the classic. The possibilities are quite endless :P I also do have to point out that Nelo Angelo's personality was quite different than DMC3 Vergil's...just sayin'. Vergil was never the "snap to make something cool happen" and "laugh slightly with every move" sorta guy, while Nelo Angelo was.

As for Dante having black hair as a child and Vergil having white hair as a child - perhaps Vergil had so much power, even as a child, owing to his white hair, which Dante only gets later on in life (during the game). Adds a new sense of brotherly love to their dynamic that Vergil was always stronger than Dante, but would let him win so he wouldn't feel bad (like that picture of kid Vergil losing the sword fight). It could really come back to a point when they face off in DmC with "You can't beat me Dante, I'm stronger than you, and I always have been!"

Oh gawd...a fight between those two, using their Devil Triggers on one another to manipulate the battlefield, back and forth T_T It's so beautiful in my head. I just might have to write it instead of what I was supposed to write today...
