Agreed; after all, there are far worse things than death, and for those kinds of people, I have no sympathy. Mercy is reserved for those who deserve it; of course, it also takes careful consideration to make that decision, since there are accidental killings.

I figure so long as someone shows true remorse-no, feels true remorse-they can be given some slack. It's the serial killers, rapists, and pedophiles I'd give absolutely no quarter to. If someone touched my child in that way, they'd be shown the true definition of agony.
