If Eva was an angel...

^ Weren't NT trying to make Anges different from the usual moral style angel thou?

So they said, but we don't know how yet. I'm just trying to say that being something different than typical angels doesn't mean they can't still have such roles. Like a demon is not just a demon, they are interpreted differently from game to game, story to story, media to media.

^ AH! true, If DMC has thought us anything is that humans are the true demons. But Dante is a good demon, so a bad angel is indeed reasonable.

NT did say their angel is not angel in Christian orthodox. Angel in DmC does not indicate goodness.

To not be orthodox and to not be good isn't the same thing. They could still be good.

Maybe it will be true. I remember that in other gaming series for example MegaTen, whole God and angel concept showed them evil ruthless tyrants.

I never really played the Shin Megami Tensei series. I used to have the Lucifer's Call game, but it just seemed so extremely boring. It was the one with Dante in.

not really, they never made a compelling case for humans being evil other than some fringe members in volved in occult studies.

I believe that the angels in this game are based on the famous sculpture by the world famous Rennaissance artist Kinder Gartener, Note how he put the rotting corpse next to the angel, signifying the angel feels anger and unleashes wrath just like humans, also he drew a turkey

Anyone seen "Little Nicky"?
Maybe Eva as an angel isn't dead, but just gone, like in that movie, prevented to contact Dante for some reason.
