If a live action movie of dmc was ever made....here are my chosen actors

I watched Resident Evil Damnation with Leon S. Kennedy and I liked it ALOT more than degeneration. It was awesome.....and I would like to have a devil may cry (the original...not NT DmC) CGI movie very much.

As for live-action devil may cry movie......I am as picky as heck! I would absolutely hate a dmc live action if it was like the stupid Alice (Milla Jovoich) movies..... the first two movies were alright but it got annoying after that.
The live action Wesker was horrible!


Anyways.....I have only two actors that fit the the possible dantes.


For Dmc 4 Dante its: Ian Somerhalder (and no I don't watch vampire diaries...I found this actor by accident and thought he looked like Dmc 4 Dante.....

And I would definitly love a live action movie based on the Dmc 3 Dante. For me, that one stands out the most. And I am definitly picky with this one......I searched far and wide for a possible actor that can be similar to Dmc 3.....after three years....I found this actor......he is not famous but he has potential and I think he would be a great dmc 3 dante for live action movie. sorry my sentences are bad. I absolutely adore this guy Jon Cor....all he needs is some work out, white hair and he's ready to go.....

Again these are my thoughts and so no hating.....I tried to look for actors as close as possible to the game character.....I don't want no Brad Pitt, Channing Tatum, or Ryan Reynolds......


So what do you guys think?

do you guys have other actors (not famous but have potential to be a great dante)?

I completely agree with Ian Somerhalder as Dante.
He would make a perfect fit in my opinion, and he's a good actor too. Jon Cor however... I just can't see it.

To be honest though, I don't think it would matter how great the actor is. Could Capcom actually choose the right people for the job without interfering?

I dont think Capcom has a choice when it comes to that since they might have sold the rights to Screen gems. I cant blame capcom for RE's perceived failures in film because they had little to no input in the films from what i imagine.

These work but they might be too old to be 19. But you could always age Dante up in 3 since his age isnt disussed.

Ok, but in all seriousness a movie of Devil May Cry has been confirmed slated for a 2016 release and it will be based on the upcoming Ninja Theory reboot. That's not a bad thing because there is more of a film in the NT take than there is on the original game which didn't have much to it at all in the story department. Plus casting Dante would be easier and the reboot version overall translates better to screen. My idea for Dante could be Justin Chatwin. I think he's great in Shameless and I like the guy. I mean of course he didn't play the best Goku in that terrible Evolution movie but that was a bad movie and not him. I think he could pull off the look and role. Plus I can't think of many others off the top of my head at the moment.

Anyway, in terms of a DMC movie? I'd go with Somerhalder as Dante. Other guy doesn't quite have the right facial structure to pull it off. But going all the way from the first game? I dunno...it might be tough for someone to string together certain parts of the story seamlessly. After all, DMC was a lot of back-tracking and dungeon crawling to get to certain points, and if you didn't know what you were doing at first, it took an INCREDIBLY long time to piece everything together. -shrug-

That's just me, but if someone considers doing this, it won't be easy, as it almost never is with any films.

I think with puzzles and other gameplay objectives, we don't necessarily need to see in the film more than once unless they could be used to move forward the plot.
