Use Devil Bringer to attract Dante to you then release DT (Dante should fly out to the air) and then, just before he hit the floor punch "O" button, it should take a lot of his energy. Do it several times and the battle will end quickly. But there is one condition - you must have a lot of Devil Trigger bars or at least some of Devil Stars. It's not perfect tactic but I use it and usually don't have any problems with this boss.

Or the most lame manner - use Holy Water.

My advice is the usual. 1st checked our little sticked thread. Then, play as much as it requires you to beat him. In DMD I played against him for almost a full hour

Use you gun, shoot him for a few times.(meanwhile get close to him)
Then quickly use Devil Bringer bust.
Then you use the gun again, repeat.
Tip: when you are using the devil trigger, press the gun buttom repeatly
so you can add some more damage to it.(for any boss)
