But the entire point of making DmC was to attempt something different in several ways for the series - one of them being an actual story beyond "dude wants to open a portal to hell" like every DMC has ever been about, ever :p

You can't fault them for trying to bring all of a game's elements up to speed. So far, the presentation has been a-okay, in my book.

I never cared which dude wanted to open the gates of hell i just wanted some kick-ass gameplay and that's what it should be all about kick-ass gameplay 24/7
 
I like a bit of both worlds. That's why Silent Hill2 and Bastion rank so high on my best video games list.

No need to point it out I read your post just fine but thank you, just a vibe from the post and I and I haven't had any sleep for two days but still can read which I could sleep >_>

But as of now since I made my post and remembered the old quotes from the game I am going down memory lane and reading the others from each game oh how I enjoyed them winced at them as well as laughed when I suppose to and when I wasn't suppose to. Good times but thanks for your post and having me bring back those thoughts.

No truly I meant it thank you, I've been trying to occupy my brain and not OD on playing the demo again even if I enjoy it I must sleep and reading gets me sleepy and even if you and I disagree about the game/demo you really did give me a good idea to try and make myself sleepy by reading which sometimes works but I had nothing to read and then there was your post and the idea I got after I posted.

Might even go read JTHM afterwards or be around reading to help out but got a song stuck in my head now which teach me not to read lyrics people post.
