The story was simple, but pretty good none the less. Cutscenes were entertaining, dialouge and characters were good.

i think the story is good. but still not on par with DMC...even if it has some inconsistent plot devices (thats for both DMC and DMC3). but i still think that DMC3 could have done some more. i feel like something was missing from the story. but thats for all the DMC/DmC games so i guess i really can't use that excuse. anyways, at the time, it was probably one of the more cinematic movies while still maintaining the videogame feel.
