How would this game end?

My ending theory, though vague in how it will be executed, is that Limbo and the human plane will merge. Revealing the truth to people now that the demons don't have any means to hide or manipulate them. This would redeem Dante and The Order in their eyes and maybe it'll lock Dante in his current DT. Who knows what will happen to Vergil and Kat, though.

Dante fights Mundus and wins, Vergil reveals he was working for the angels using Dante as a bargaining chip and that he killed Kat, Dante fights Vergil and wins, Vergil is left on the brink of death and Dante takes Yamato to his new home. Then he gets himself drunk and next day he is like "Picked a bad day for a hangover..."
Then we jump forward a few months and see Dante with fully white hair, having kebab with french fries ( doesn't have to be pizza always :P ) when suddenly a familiar face returns...

I think... the original ending was in the TGS 2010 trailer.

When he says, "My name is Dante," he smiles and jumps off a building and escapes. There's a blue blur right above him with a shiny sliver of metal... most likely Vergil diving after him with the Yamato.

When the trailer ends, that's probably when the original ending ended as well.

After the credits, you see Dante like about a year later, with his white hair and red coat. And on the run. Vergil is on a cathedral, looking down upon him. Then it zooms up to his hand, and he flicks open Yamato with his thumb. End scene.

You're probably asking, "What about the scene after that where Dante is laying down on top of a gargoyle and smoking? That's probably a flashback. It changes to present day white haired Dante (who no longer smokes, and is eating drinking tomato juice instead of smoking). And while Dante changes, the city changes with him, revealing the passage of time.

THEN you see Vergil on the cathedral, looking down upon him.

Look, I'm most likely 99.9% WRONG on this being the original ending, but that's just how I imagined it. It's just a really wild guess, nothing more.

If you killed a company CEO that has total influence. The most likely thing to happen is that society will chase after you.
This is because everything what the company previously owned will turn into ashes.
Nobody will even believe you that you have freed them of bonds. Slaves are still slaves.

There is NO way that he will open his shop. as the classic series.

I also think as you do that the ending happens after one year still with demons with their systems slowly regenerating.

I've realized from your trailer, DmC has come a long way. I notice the Dante we have today is nothing like the Dante from the trailer.
He's not a smoker anymore
He doesn't sound Darker anymore
He doesn't have those knock off version of Dante (DMC4) pants anymore
He doesn't have eye shadow anymore
He isn't in a torture chamber anymore
He doesn't look like he'd been at a goth party all day
Our Dante has truly been a Remodel of a "Remodel". Ninja Theory and Capcom really listened to what we had to say, but people are too ****ing blind to notice.

So what you're telling me is Vergil is going to turn into the awesome Vergil from DMC3 in GOD MODE? Too good to be true, then again, it goes well with Ninja Theory's way of spewing out plot twist.

Here's what's really gonna go down,

Mundus gets his ass handed to him.

*Time skip*

Dante vs Vergil over the last slice of pizza.
lol nice choice on Dave Chappelle

If I remember correctly, in that overturn mission, some humans were getting tortured there.

And in the Captivate trailer, some humans were getting sucked into something.
