How to Block/Avoid certain words/topics on the Internet

I've heard its possible to blacklist certain words and phrases so you can avoid seeing content (videos, articles, thumbnails) associated with those words and phrases or at the very least have it applied to set websites like Youtube and Facebook.

Does anyone know any way here how to do that? I'm having a bit of trouble trying to figure out how. At the very least know how to do it when it comes to Youtube (top priority) and Facebook?

Can this work on mobile devices and apps too?

Well, I know how to exclude words from a Google search but to make it so your ques and feeds remove them? Nope. Sorry.

I know there are ways to block them on Facebook & filter certain things on Twitter via extensions & can also mute words & here are some tips on avoiding them on Youtube.

Im at work at moment and found these via a very quick search but will look for some more in depth tools when I have some time if you need them.
